Target Audience: 
My design will target a specific audience. I am aiming my design at older teenagers and young adults. they will be in between the ages of 16 and 26. They will like indie and alternative bands like The 1975, Artic Monkeys and The Smiths. As they are older, they will have their own income and spending money which they will spend on music and merch for bands they like.
My design will appeal to my audience as will be simplistic but distinct.

Rationale:
I made my designs with the intention of drawing people in. For example, one of my designs has the earth and moon stuck together. I chose to this as it is weird and abstract which relates to my target audience. Ideally, people will see the design and decide to check out that album, poster or t-shirt. I will use visually appealing colours such as red, yellow and purple on my design to  draw people in. I will also use strange, almost hypnotic visuals to draw in my target audience. The designs will be minimalistic, containing only the band name, album name and the key visual. As they are minimalistic, the meaning and intention will be left up to viewer, which will make my designs stand out.
